Mr. Bobby Dean Sain, age 68, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be conducted at 5:00 PM Monday, May 22, 2017, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112. Interment will follow at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5300 Nesbit Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173.

Mr. Sain was born on August 1, 1948, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of the late Paul Edwin Sain and the late Juanita Nanny Boatwright Sain.  He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Sybil Sinclair, Donna Sain Short and Kathy Sain Apple.

He was a retired supervisor with Hanover Refrigeration for 25 years and manager at Tafco with 30 years of dedicated service. He was also a US Marine veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri Belk of Waxhaw; five daughters, Lisa Michelle Sain of Waxhaw, Renee Sain Montgomery of Charlotte, Jessica Sain Goodrich and husband Matthew of Lincolnton, NC, Wendy Leigh Sain of Lincolnton, NC and Ashley Sain of Waxhaw;  three brothers, Gene Buren Sain of Wesley Chapel, Jerry Paul Sain of Huger, SC, and Preston Scott Sain of Waxhaw;  one sister, Debbie Sue Pettus of Unionville. There are 9 grandchildren, Morgan Taylor Sain, Tyler Keziah, Mason Keziah, Caleb Albright, Kennedy Albright, Summer Albright, Grace Goodrich, Landis Goodrich, Jayden Bella-Dean Sain. There are numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:45 PM on Monday, May 22, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home, prior to the funeral ceremony.
