Mr. Charles Anderson, age 84, of Jefferson, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at the Lancaster Convalescent Center in Lancaster, SC.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112, officiated by Reverend Richard Collins and Pastor Danny Johnson.

Mr. Anderson was born on August 17, 1933, in Pageland, South Carolina, a son of the late Cecil Lee Anderson and the late Rosey Adams Anderson. He was a retired truck driver with Tucker Lumber in Pageland, SC for many years and later drove for Plylers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Moree Anderson; and his son Harold Anderson.

Survivors include his five sons David Anderson and wife Hazel of Jefferson, SC, Dale Anderson and wife Lori of Jefferson, SC, Elvis Anderson and wife Sherri of Greer, SC, Hank Anderson of Greer, SC and Jerry Anderson and wife Theresa of Gastonia, NC; his four daughters Lisa Anderson of Monroe, NC, Barbara Johnson and husband Danny of Monroe, NC, Cindy Anderson and Pat Anderson; his sister Daisy Holshouser and husband Jim of Lancaster, SC; and his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home of Aaron and Candy Rumbold, 1209 East Sandy Ridge Road, Monroe, NC 28112, on Friday, November 10, 2017, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM..
