Mr. James Edward Terenzi, age 61, of Indian Trail, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at CMC-Main in Charlotte.

A funeral mass to celebrate his life will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 725 Deese Street, Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Father Benjamin Roberts.

Mr. Terenzi was born on February 4, 1956, in Suffolk County, New York, a son of Juanita George Terenzi and the late John Joseph Terenzi.  He worked as a strategic planner for Pomeroy, he was a volunteer at Hospice, he was volunteer for Monroe Homeless and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Missions.

Survivors include his mother Juanita Terenzi of Matthews, NC; his wife Donna Terenzi of Indian Trail, NC; his three daughters Jessica Plessner (Ted) of Concord, NC, Christina Aguirre of Monroe, NC and Kristy Smith of Monroe, NC; his son Michael Smith of Monroe, NC; his brother Robert Terenzi (Cheryl) of Matthews, NC; his two sisters Pamela Privette (Mike) of Indian Trail, NC and Deborah Achenbach (Tom) of Monroe, NC; in addition there are his nine grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews; and his best friends/dogs, Weeman and Bizzy.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe.
