Mrs. Mary Jane Chalker Cassidy, age 70, of Monroe, NC, formerly of Bridgeport, CT, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Cassidy was born July 10, 1945 in Dade County Florida, daughter of the late James Chalker and Mary Palumbo Chalker. She was a retired banker with Fifth Third Bank.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cassidy will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 E. Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Mrs. Cassidy is survived by her husband Robert Cassidy, Sr. of the home; her two sons Robert Cassidy, Jr. (Donica) of Monroe, NC, and Brian Cassidy (Heidi) of Waxhaw, NC; her two daughters,Jackie Ballard and Laura Madore (Bruce) both of Monroe, NC; and her sister Kathleen Stone (Michael) of Milford, CT; there are sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
