Mrs. Pearl Welch DeHart, age 87, of Marshville, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, officiated by Reverend Ervin Reynolds.  Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. DeHart was born on March 15, 1930, in Copper Hill, Tennessee and raised in Blue Ridge, Georgia, a daughter of the late Harry Welch and Florence Cunningham Welch.

She was a retired lab assistance for Union Regional Hospital (now Carolinas Healthcare System).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend George Henry DeHart and her daughter, Janet Antonucci.  She was also preceded by three brothers, Fred Welch, Claud Welch, Frank Welch and three sisters, Marie Tipton, Hazel Davis, and Dora Stephenson.

Survivors include her son, George Joseph DeHart and wife, Kathy, of Waxhaw, NC; her daughter,  Grace Anne Eason of Indian Trail, NC; two grandsons David Eason of Huntersville, NC, and Joey DeHart of Waxhaw, NC; and three granddaughters Julie Eason Jenkins of Taylorsville, NC, Stephanie Rutherford of Wingate, NC, and Jennifer Antonucci of Marshville, NC.  There are three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
