Mrs. Rebecca Funderburk Blackburn, age 50, of Wingate, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center - Union.

Graveside Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Griffin Family Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Phil McLean.

Mrs. Blackburn was born on November 14, 1964, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Lois Moore Funderburk of Wingate, NC, and the late Keith Franklin Funderburk.

She was working in housekeeping in the construction business and formerly worked in medical records at Autumn Care Nursing Home.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, and her brother Rodney Keith Funderburk.

Survivors include her mother, Lois Moore Funderburk; her husband of 24 years, Kelly Blackburn of Wingate, NC; a son, Corey Jon Blackburn of Wingate, NC; a daughter, Tara Shane Strickland of Wingate, NC; two granddaughters Alyssa Parker of Wingate, NC, and Alexis Funderburk of Monroe, NC; two grandsons Chad Pipes of Wingate, NC, and Christopher Pipes of Monroe, NC; and her brother David Russell Funderburk of Wingate, NC.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Griffin Cemetery.
