Miss Samantha Ann Scott, age 26, of Huntersville, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016, at her residence.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Pastor Benny Helms.

Miss Scott was born on December 13, 1990, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Kathryn Ann Price and the late Leonard Brian Scott.  She was a waitress at Waffle House.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph L. Price; her grandparents, Paulette and James Kennedy, and Bill Arnold; her great-grandparents, Ben and Myrtie Helms.

Survivors include her daughter, Kai’ahna Scott of Huntersville; mother, Kathyrn Ann Price of Welcome, North Carolina; her dad, Terry Price of Little River, South Carolina; her mom, Crystal Price of Concord; one brother Travis Price of Little River, South Carolina; one sister, Nicole Price of Concord; her grandparents, Barbara Arnold, Jerry and Sue Deese; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 30, 2016, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, one hour prior to the service, at Davis Funeral Home at 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe.
