Mrs. Shirley Ann Dugan-Rorie, age 70, of Monroe, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, at McWhorter Hospice House.

Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Stephenson Presbyterian Church at 4224 Rocky River Road North in Monroe, officiated by Reverend Valerie Phillips.  Interment will be follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Dugan-Rorie was born on December 1, 1946, in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose Amaral.  She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Dugan.

Survivors include her husband, Justin Rorie of the home; five sons, Brian Santos and wife, Stacy, of Warren, RI, Jonathan Santos of Shirley, MA, Robert Santos of East Providence, RI, Ian Dugan and wife, Melissa, of Somerset, MA, Shaun Dugan of Alden, SC; one daughter, Lisa Stevens of Fall River, MS; three brothers, Anthony Amaral of Fall River, MA, James Amaral of Cape Coral, FL, George Amaral of West Port, MA; one sister, Pauline Boutin and husband, Roger, of Fort Myers, FL.  There are five grandchildren, Steven, Ryan, Nicholas, Holly, and Gage; and four great-grandchildren, Mason, Lilly, Braylin, and Harper; her father in law and mother in law Joe and Josie Rorie; her sister in law and brother in law Carol and Eddie Moree; and two step nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dogs, Sheba and Abraham and her cats, Gizzy and Carmine.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 11, 2017, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Stephenson Presbyterian Church.
