Mrs. Susan (Sue) Preslar, age 53, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017, at Carolinas Medical Center - Pineville.

Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, July 31, 2017, at Love Baptist Church; 707 Deese Road; Monroe, NC  28110, officiated by Reverend Don Thompson and Reverend Tommy Preslar.  Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery; 6223 Love Mill Road; Monroe, NC  28110.

Mrs. Preslar was born on October 19, 1963, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Louise (Lucy) Caudle and the late Robert Hobbs.  She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Allen Preslar of the home; one son, Jason Allen Preslar and wife, Faith, of Indian Trail; two daughters, Amanda Preslar Starnes and husband, Jeremy, Susan Michelle Griffin and husband, Darryl, all of Monroe; her mother, Louise (Lucy) Caudle of Monroe; two sisters, Kathy Thomas of Monroe, Amy Crooke and husband, Tony, of Marshville.  There are three grandchildren, Jacob Allen Preslar, Hunter Michael Starnes, and Wyatt Luke Preslar.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 30, 2017, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home at 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe.
