Mrs. Teresa E. McWhorter, age 63, of Pageland, SC entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Autumn Care Nursing Home-Marshville.

Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 5:00 PM Thursday June 30, 2016 at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Reverend Travis McLain.

Mrs. McWhorter was born September 21, 1952 in Union County a daughter of the late Jarvis Fletcher Medlin and Mary Elizabeth Ethridge.

She worked as a parts deliverer for Danny Medlin Auto.

She is survived by her husband Rafael Ocasio of Pageland, SC; her two sons Jeremy McWhorter of Cheraw, SC and Matthew Ocasio of Orangeburg, SC; her daughter Melissa Staton of Monroe, NC; two sisters Gwynn Cannon (Allen) of Cherryville, NC, and Beverly Lang of Gastonia, NC; and three brothers Steve Medlin (Judy) of Waxhaw, NC, Bobby Medlin of Monroe, NC, and Danny Medlin (Tina) of Charlotte, NC; there are three grandsons and two granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:45 PM Thursday June 30, 2016 prior to the memorial service.
