Norma Arant

Ms. Norma Gail Arant, age 63, of Marshville, NC, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Autumn Care of Marshville. 

Norma's family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Saturday, May 15, 2021, in the Azalea Room of Davis Funeral Service, 1003 E. Franklin St. Monroe, NC 28112.

A private family graveside service will be held in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Christina Trimble. 

Norma was born July 5, 1956, in Union County, NC, a daughter of the late Odell Arant and Grace Timmons Arant. Known for her gentle and loving spirit, she showed love to all she came in contact with in her own special way. Norma will be greatly missed by the family that loved her dearly and will remember her always.

Norma is survived by her sister, Emma Thompson, her brothers; Roger Arant (Brenda) and Mitchell Arant (Frances Ann), and her sister-in-law, Patricia Arant. Survivors also include numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her brother, Charles "Charlie" Arant, and her brother-in-law, Joe Thompson.  

Although flowers are appreciated, Norma's family requests that memorials in Norma's honor be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 7845 Little Ave., Charlotte, NC 28226
