Mrs. Annie N. Plyler, age 84, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at White Oak of Waxhaw.
Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Annie Plyler will be conducted at 12:00 PM(Noon) Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Waxhaw Baptist Church, 8213 Old Waxhaw Monroe Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173, officiated by Reverend Chris Whittaker and Reverend Adam Furr.
Interment will follow in Bonds Grove Campus Cemetery of Weddington UMC, 8215 Bonds Grove Church Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173.
Mrs. Plyler was born on February 26, 1935, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Walter Tonsy (WT) Norwood, Sr. and the late Artie Elizabeth Brady Norwood.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Ann Plyler.
Annie was a retired bookkeeper with over 35 years of dedicated service.
Survivors include her husband, William Bryan Plyler, Sr of Waxhaw; two sons, William Plyler, Jr (Tracy) of Waxhaw and Ronald Plyler (Michelle) of Waxhaw; six grandchildren, William (Tray) Plyler (Meagan) of Waxhaw, Christa Plyler (Josh Reynolds) of Waxhaw, Chrissy Gamble of Lancaster, Katie Plyler (Chance Brantley) of Waxhaw, Quinton Plyler (Allie) of Lancaster and Morgan Sain of Waxhaw.
There are eight great grandchildren, Trinity Clark, Julian Clark, Austen Plyler, Sawyer Plyler, Wyatt Plyler, Landry Palmer, LynnLee Gamble and Lane Plyler; four brothers, Walter Norwood, Clyde Norwood (Ruth), Tommy Norwood (Phyllis) and Larry Norwood (Susan); and a sister, Pansy Mosely.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 am until 11:45 am, prior to the funeral ceremony at Waxhaw Baptist Church.
