Barbara Hatley Hinson

Barbara Hatley Hinson, age 60, of Monroe, NC, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Atrium Health Union. 

The family will receive friends between 5:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday, January 23, 2020 in the Dogwood Room of Davis Funeral Service, 1003 East Franklin St., Monroe, NC, 28112. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 24, at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC, 28212, officiated by Dr. Terry W. Preslar.

Barbara was born August 12, 1959, in Stanly County, NC, a daughter of the late Fred Odell Hatley Sr. and Mary Ella Miller Hatley. She was a hotel housekeeper. 

Barbara is survived by a son, Walter Broome, three daughters; Lisa Morgan (Greg), Regina Hinson, Toni Cooper, three sisters; Betsy Byers, Donna Preslar, Marie Hatley, and special friend Larry Chambers. Survivors also include seven grandchildren. 
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Odell Hatley Jr.
