Mr. Blake Andrew Aldridge, age 35, of Wingate, North Carolina, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112, officiated by Dr. Derrill Smith. The family will receive friends following the memorial ceremony Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Davis Funeral Home.

Blake was born on December 29, 1981, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, a son of Donald Aldridge and Kathryn Cash Aldridge. He was a digital operations coordinator for The Post and Courier in Charleston, SC.

Survivors include his father Donald Aldridge and mother Kathryn Aldridge of Wingate, NC; his son Landon Aldridge of North Charleston, SC; his brothers Alex Aldridge and wife Jennifer of Wingate, NC and Lee Aldridge and wife Jennifer of Salisbury, NC; his nephews Dylan Aldridge and  Cooper Aldridge; and his niece Caroline Aldridge.
