Mr. Donald Dean Tucker, age 59, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Carolinas Healthcare System – Union.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2017, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112, officiated by Reverend Frank Crump. Interment will be  conducted at a later date in the Veterans National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.

Mr. Tucker was born on January 3, 1958, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of the late James Donald Tucker and Vida Mae Dean Tucker.  He was a construction contractor.  He was also a United States Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Tucker.

Survivors include his daughter, Sarah Tucker and husband, Nick Price, of Waxhaw; his son, Jacob Tucker of Monroe; three granddaughters, Jasmine Price, Lillian Price, Delilah Price, all of Waxhaw; two brothers, Jimmy Tucker of Tradesville, SC, Tommy Tucker of Lancaster, SC; two sisters, Wanda Tucker and Gail Tucker both of Mount Croghan, SC.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Davis Funeral Home.
