Freeda C. Moss of Charlotte NC went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2017.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Juanita Deputy; her brothers Fred and Jim Deputy; her sisters Geneva Buchacker, Kate Rathburn and Judy Stone

Survivors include her sons Tony Hensley and wife Beverly, Ed Crafton and wife Erin; her daughter Shelly Gynn and husband Jon; her granddaughters Amie Childers, Jamie Cruz and husband Daniel, Madison Brewer, Jaycie Gynn, Morgan Crafton, Emmie Crafton, and Sadie Crafton; her grandson Aaron Cruz; her sisters Betty Williamson, Martha Pappas, Mary Deputy, Ruth Loeb and Annette Neal; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Freeda was the oldest of eleven children and the matriarch of the family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, forgiveness, and compassion for all that knew her. She will be cherished always.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Davis Funeral Chapel prior to the funeral ceremony.
