Geneva Rice Godfrey

Mrs. Geneva Rice Godfrey, age 95, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Carillon Assisted Living Center of Indian Trail.

Graveside funeral services to celebrate the life of Geneva Godfrey will be conducted at 12:00PM Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery, 5400 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212, officiated by Chaplain Patrick Dejuneas.

Mrs. Godfrey was born on December 17, 1924, in Iredell County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late William H. Rice and the late Mary Young Rice.
She was married to the late Harry Godfrey.

She was a retired telephone operator and receptionist. 

Survivors include a great nephew, Wayne Miller and wife Nancy of Monroe; and a great niece, Karen Jester and husband Sam of Lincolnton, NC.
