Glennie McManus

Mrs. Glennie Mullis McManus, age 97, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Jesse Helms Nursing Center in Monroe, NC.

A Service to Celebrate her life will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112,  officiated by Reverend Donald Lisk.

Mrs. McManus was born on August 7, 1920, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Arthur Mullis and the late Lottie Helms Mullis. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Adam McManus. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jaye Vann McManus, and Nicholas Steve McManus and two daughters, Vivian Sue McManus and Nancy Carol Ivey.

Mrs. McManus was a retired motel manager for Economy Inn with 32 years of dedicated service.

Survivors include her son, Donald Ray McManus of Wadesboro, NC; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM prior to the ceremony at Davis.
