Josephine Schmidt Obituary

Mrs. Josephine Guzman Schmidt, age 67, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, at her residence.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church; 725 Deese Street in Monroe, officiated by Father Cory Catrine. The family will receive friends following the Funeral Mass.

Mrs. Schmidt was born on May 5, 1950, in the Philippines.

Survivors include her husband, Dannie Ray Schmidt; three sons, Jimmy Acosta and Danny Acosta, both of the Philippines, Kevin Schmidt and his girlfriend, Alyssa Cole, of New York, two daughters, Adora Acosta of Kuwait, and Joselyn Acosta of the Philippines.
