Louise "Lucy" Caudle

February 24, 1941 ~ May 2, 2018 (age 77)

Mrs. Louise (Lucy) Kiker Caudle, age 77, of Marshville, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at her residence.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Antioch Baptist Church, 6223 Love Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110, officiated by Reverend Terry Smith, Reverend Don Thompson and Reverend George Gouge.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Caudle was born on February 24, 1941, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Theron Eugene Kiker and Velma Pauline Mullis Kiker. She was preceded in death by husbands Harold Douglas Stanford and Jesse Caudle. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Hobbs Preslar, a granddaughter, Michelle Preslar Griffin and a brother, Phillip Brent Kiker.

Lucy was a retired spotter at PCA Photo Corporation with 15 years of dedicated service. She was also a CNA and caregiver.

Survivors include her two daughters, Amy Stanford Crooke and husband Tony of Marshville, and Kathy Hobbs Thomas of Unionville, a son-in-law, Richard Preslar of Monroe; two brothers, Kenneth Kiker and wife Phyllis of Monroe and Douglas Kiker and wife Terry of Monroe, and a sister-in-law, Annette Kiker of Marshville.

There are 7 grandchildren, Jason Preslar, Amanda Starnes, Mary Crooke, Mark Crooke, Starr Crooke, Tamra Megill and Matthew Thomas; and 4 great grandchildren, William Crooke, Jacob Preslar, Hunter Starnes and Wyatt Preslar.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday night, May 5, 2018, at Davis Funeral Home, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112.
