Mrs. Mehyang "Nina" Nolan, age 62, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, at McWhorter Hospice House.
Mrs. Nolan was born on March 5, 1957, in Seoul, South Korea, a daughter of James Reed and Gabriela Reed of Cape Coral, Florida.
She was formerly employed as a shipping clerk at Charlotte Plastics. She was an avid runner having been in 25 marathons and numerous 5k's. Nina loved cooking and baking, painting and her family. She was loved by all and always put others first.
Survivors include her husband, Ned Nolan of Monroe; five daughters, Zina Bivens and husband Tommy Bivens, Jr of Monroe, Shelly Bluhm of Monroe, Shonda Nolan of Goshen, Indiana, Sherri Lundgren and husband Larry Lundgren of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, Shirin Reum and husband Mike Reum of Elkhart, Indiana; two brothers, Richard Reed and wife Gail Reed of Bend, Oregon; two sisters, Maria Atkin and husband Ken Atkin of Alpharetta, Georgia and Marcela Cline and husband Bobby Cline of Alexandria, Virginia.
There are eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
