Michael J. Helms, age 67, of Monroe, NC, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 16, 2019, in the Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Rev. Dallas Pressley

Michael was born June 21, 1952 in Lancaster Co., SC, a son of Thomas Dewey Helms and the late Wilma Jean McCain. Michael provided over 21 years of dedicated service to Lance Inc. working in the manufacturing facility.

Michael is survived by his father, Dewey Helms and wife Janice of Monroe, NC, and a brother, Ronald Helms and wife Ellen of Mint Hill, NC. Survivors also include his daughter, and two grandchildren.
