Paul Mack Lemmonds was born April 5, 1970, in Mecklenburg County, NC, a son of Connie Lemmonds and the late James Ray Lemmonds. Paul served our country through his service to the United States Marine Corps, and lived by the Marine Corps motto “Once a Marine, Always a Marine.” After his years of military service, Paul protected the citizens of the county he was raised in and loved, as a law enforcement officer first for the City of Marshville and later for the City of Stallings. In his youth, Paul played in baseball, basketball, football and was a lifelong sports fan – especially Tar Heels basketball and Panthers football. Even at an early age, he exhibited the talent, ability, and determination that he would be known for throughout his life. Paul was also an active member of the Renegade Pigs Motorcycle Club, a non-profit organization for active and retired public safety united in support of all public safety officials and their families. Although Paul was devoted to his country and community, his greatest dedication was to his family. Paul cherished his loved ones, and will leave behind a legacy of loyalty and love for family that will never be forgotten.
Paul is survived by his mother, Connie Lemmonds, a sister, Jaime (Ryan) Frank, a daughter, Macky Lemmonds, a daughter, Shiny Lemmonds, their Godmother, Scarlette Chun, two grandchildren; Addison Scarboro, and Westyn Womack, niece Adelyne Frank, and nephew Jonah Frank.
In lieu of flowers, Paul’s family requests that memorials in his honor be made to RPMC-UC Chapter (Renegade Pigs Motorcycle Club) 810 Odell Ct. Matthews, NC, 28105 Attn: R. Peppers
