Mr. Thomas Ray Threadgill, age 65, of Monroe, NC passed away Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at CMC-Union in Monroe, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM  Friday, January 19th, 2018 at Houston Baptist Church, 4405 Waxhaw Road, Monroe, North Carolina 28110, officiated by Rev. Shad Hicks Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Highway, Monroe, NC 28112.

Mr. Threadgill was born on July 13th, 1952, in Union County, NC a son of the late Thomas Olin Threadgill and Raymelle Margaret Whitley Threadgill. He was employed with Goulston Technologies as a sampler tech in the shipping and receiving department with 20+ years of dedicated service.

Survivors include his wife Kay Baker Threadgill of Monroe, a son, Thomas Ashley Threadgill of Monroe, a granddaughter Ashlyn Shea Threadgrill Oxendine of Indian Trail, a grandson, Landon Thomas Threadgill of Monroe,  and three great-grandchildren, with a fourth due in April; two brothers, Dennis Threadgill of Monroe and  Rick Threadgill and wife Teresa of Indian Trail and a sister Amy Threadgill Ford and husband Todd of Monroe; a niece Heather Threadgill, five nephews; Chris Threadgill, Brandon Threadgill, Andrew Ford, Chad Benton and Justin Benton.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 18th at 6:00-8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Service, 1003 E. Franklin St., Monroe, NC, 28112
