Amanda Lou (Moore) Craig

Amanda Lou Moore Craig, 77, of Monroe passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Woodridge-Monroe.  Her funeral service will be 2 PM on Friday, January 14, 2022 in the Davis Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Tim Helms officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.

Born June 11, 1944 in Union County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Marlen Moore and Martha Vickery Moore.  She was a retired textile supervisor and a member of Central Baptist Church in Indian Trail.

Mrs. Craig is survived by her husband of 62 years, Coy Wilson Craig of the home.  Other survivors include son Coy Eugene “Gene” Craig of Monroe, daughters Marie Eaton (Cal) of Monroe, Kay Whitley (Carl) of Fairview, and Sue Ellen Craig (Neil) of Clover, SC, brother Marlen Moore of Indian Trail, sister Jane Miller of Monroe, grandchildren Loyd “L.C.” Eaton (Britni) of Monroe, Kelli Whitley of Marshville, and Ashley Whitley of Fairview and great-granddaughter Sarah Grace Eaton. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Senior Saints Class at Central Baptist Church.
