Mrs. Ann Cauthen Aycoth, age 75, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at her residence.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 22, 2020 at New Hope United Methodist Church, 3221 Plyler Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28112, officiated by Reverend Johanna Miller.
Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112
Mrs. Aycoth was born on May 13, 1944, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Quillian Junior Cauthen and the late Verla Mae Baker Cauthen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Thomas Aycoth, who passed in 2004 and her step mother, Virginia Cauthen.
Ann was an assistant librarian with Parkwood High School with many years of dedicated service.
Survivors include her son, Gary Todd Aycoth and wife Temple Aycoth of Monroe; two daughters, Melonie Aycoth Nance and the late Mark Nance of Monroe, and Tonya Parker of Waxhaw; a brother, Terry Cauthen and wife Lynn Cauthen of Monroe; a sister, Dawn Kirby and husband Steve Kirby of Rock Hill, SC; There are eight grandchildren, Garian Aycoth, Kendall Aycoth, Camron Nance, Colby Nance, Chase Nance, Treven Parker, Marcy Ann Parker and Garek Parker.
There are nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday night, February 21, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112.
