Granny was born October 3, 1941 in Bluefield, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Roy Guy and Josephine Hazel Neal. Granny loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she was happiest when she had all of her family together. She loved her grand dogs and her sweet cat Cammie aka Pooter. Granny started each day out with her a cup of strong black coffee. She often requested french fries and Coke for dinner and chocolate pie for dessert. She loved to watch Days of Our Lives, do word searches, and scroll through Facebook to keep up with her family and friends. Granny is famous for her Thanksgiving stuffing, potato soup, and sweet biscuits. Her love and strength were a blessing and example to all that knew her, and she will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Granny is survived by four children; Vickie Cecil (Billy) of Monroe, NC, Bobby Goodman (Alice) of Bristol, TN, Kimberly Strenke (Kevin) of Monroe, NC, Dennis Goodman (Stephanie) of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by her younger brother Larry Neal of Dublin, Virginia.

Granny is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 2 furry grand dogs.
