Casey Neal Southerland

Casey Southerland, 34, of Monroe passed away on July 23, 2023 in his home.  His memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, July 31, 2023 in the Davis Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Chris Baucom officiating. 

Born April 23, 1989 in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of Marie Southerland and the late Gregory Southerland.  He worked as a pipe layer with Dellinger Inc. and formerly worked as an electrician He was also trained in many other trades as well.  Casey enjoyed fishing with his girlfriend Summer.  He also was known as the computer and phone guy.  He loved electronics and explored all the new advanced technologies.  He was very talented in fixing and restoring all electronics. 

Casey was hilarious.  He was adored by his nieces and nephews and he has many friends who are shocked by his sudden passing.  He dearly loved his children.  He was raised Catholic but attended a nondenominational church recently.

In addition to his mother Marie, he is survived by daughter Willow Grace and sons Ben and Ezekial, sister Laurie Southerland, brother Kevin Southerland, nieces Brynn and Gemma Rallis and nephew Peter Stankus IV.
