Jackie Eugene Caldwell

Jackie Eugene Caldwell, 87, of Monroe, NC passed away on April 16, 2023 in his home.  His funeral service will be on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2 PM at Cornerstone Community Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Paul Willis officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening at Davis Funeral Service from 6 until 8 PM. 

Born February 14, 1936 in Gaston County, NC he was the son of the late Sidney Caldwell and MaDora Magdalene Greene Caldwell.  He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church of the Nazarene and was a retired veteran of the US Navy and worked as a pastry chef.   He loved his family and his church.  He was proud of this children and his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by wife Josephine Caldwell in 2003.  Survivors include five children, Jacquelyn Caldwell of Monroe, Wanda White (Michael) of Indian Trail, Robin Polk (Aubrey) of Monroe, Billy Caldwell (Samantha) of St. Mary’s, GA, and Vicky Dixon (Jon) of Monroe, sister Diane Tate of Indian Trail and brother Marshall Caldwell of Clover, SC, six grandchildren Anna Allen (Perry) of Monroe, Olivia White (Chris) of Monroe, Emily Medley (Ryan) of Monroe, Felicia Joseph (Malcolm) of San Diego, CA, Curtis Caldwell of Norfolk, VA and Lauren Caldwell of St. Marys, GA and six great-grandchildren, 8 grand-doggies and one great-grand-doggie. 

He was preceded in death by a brother Billy Caldwell.
