June Hall

May 1, 1926 ~ March 23, 2021 (age 94)

Mrs. June Sisson Hall, age 94, of Wingate, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. June Marie Sisson Hall was born on May 1, 1926 in Salina, Kansas, a daughter of the late James Joseph Sisson and Laura Mae Whittier Sisson. June was a loving wife to her husband, James, for 71 years. She believed in living life and enjoying every moment on this side of eternity doing the things she loved with the ones she loved. June enjoyed square dancing with her husband and taking family trips with their six children. Always making sure weekends were free, she looked forward to their family camping trips where they made apple butter in a large copper pot over the campfire. Her other hobbies included knitting and crocheting as she was a very crafty soul. A domestic engineer of the home, June took pride in making dresses for her girls and clothes for all her children. Although a quiet person, June was a great role model for her children, leaving lasting memories and a bond to be cherished for a lifetime.

June is survived by her son, Joseph (Carla) Hall of Ft. Myers, FL; her daughter, Nancy Dee Olds of Spencerville, OH; her daughter, Sue Lynne Harding of Spokane, WA; her son, Richard (Susan) Tetreault of Mendon, MA; her daughter, Joyce (Joseph) Wood of Wingate, NC; nineteen grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, James Louis Hall, her son, Ron Hall and her granddaughter, Barbara Ann Wood.
