Obituary
Kimberly B. Ricks, 67, of Mineral Springs passed away on Wednesday, December 21, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Charlotte on January 29, 1955 to James and Mary Bell, and is survived by her husband Jeffrey Ricks, her sons Ethan (Melissa Stutts), Kevin and Brendan (Nicole and grandchildren Austin and Wade), and sister Marianne Gurley (Frank). In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Caleb.
Kim will be remembered as many things, but foremost as a loving caretaker. She was passionate about cooking and providing for her family, and throughout her life served in many roles as a caretaker to both people and animals alike. Her nurturing soul left an impression on anyone who crossed her path.
