Larry Baucom

Mr. Larry Baucom, age 65, of Iron Station, North Carolina, formerly of Monroe, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020, at his residence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, North Carolina 28112, officiated by Pastor Brent Carpenter and Pastor Josh Smith.

Please dress casual and wear a face mask.

Mr. Baucom was born on February 14, 1955, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of Virgie Mae Edwards Baucom and the late Bradford Baucom.

He was a truck driver.

Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Wynkoop and husband David Wynkoop of Monroe; a son, Brian Baucom of Monroe;  two granddaughters, Chloe Belk and husband Blake Belk of Monroe and Jessica Peters of Monroe;  a grandson, William Wynkoop of Monroe; his significant other, Donna Byers of Iron Station, NC; his mother, Virgie Edwards Baucom of Matthews, NC; his sister, Jan Mongan and husband Bobby Mongan of Matthews and children, Cameron and Taylor.
