Margaret Pobicki Obituary

Margaret E Pobicki, 82 of Indian Trail, formally of Natrona Heights, PA, passed away on January 22, 2023.  A celebration of life will be held at Benton Crossroads Baptist Church on April 1st at 11 am.

Born January 17, 1941 in Creighton PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Pettigrew and Catherine Deets Pettigrew Stuart. Margaret was married to the late John Joseph Pobicki Sr. for 48 years. She worked as a waitress, a teacher’s aid and an assembler for computer technology, as well as a homemaker in North Brunswick, NJ before moving to Moundsville WV. She and John then started their own hand carved sign business.

She was a motivated, hardworking, loving, and devoted wife and mother.  She loved to paint and craft. She also enjoyed history, politics, and traveling.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Pobicki, Sr, daughter Michele Loraine Pobicki, and grandson John (Johnny) Joseph Pobicki III, sister Patricia and her husband Richard Mahan of CO, and brother William Pettigrew of Natrona Heights, PA.

She is survived by her daughter Denise Pobicki of Manakawkin, NJ, son John J Pobicki, Jr and wife Susan of Edison, NJ, daughter Natalie Markle of Indian Trail, NC. Other survivors include brothers Charles T Pettigrew of Columbia, SC,  John Stuart of Miami, FL and sister Katherine Wojcik of VA , nine grandchildren; Elizabeth Tiedt, Richele Nagy, Danielle and Dale Shedlock, Matthew and Anthony Pobicki, Kari Bendig, Kati Kiker, and Kyle Markle,  seven great – grandchildren; Thomas Peffier, Nathan Lees, Stella Nagy, Hunter and Blaine Keopp, Xzander and Annalee Kiker.
