Mark Ellison Thomas

Mark Ellison Thomas, 57, of Marion, NC passed away on November 16, 2023 in Asheville.  His memorial service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Davis Funeral Service in Monroe with Rev. Jerry McCoy officiating.

Born January 6, 1966 in Union County, NC, he was the son of the late James Richard Thomas and Carole Landis Griffin Thomas.  He was an employee of West Rock Company (formerly Rock Tenn) with 36 years of service.  He loved spending time with his family and he enjoyed hunting and fishing and the outdoors and also the Dallas Cowboys.

Mr. Thomas is survived by three children, Melissa Thomas of Marshville, Miranda Dunn (C. J.) of Fort Sill, OK, and Mark Thomas (Tess) of Candler, brother Eric Thomas (Trecia) of Monroe, three grandchildren, Carleigh Helms and Nathaniel Helms and Dominic Dunn, Soulmate Stephanie Thomas of Pageland, the Mother of his children Michelle Crain of OK, nephews Jon Crain, Seth Thomas, Trey Thomas, and A. J. Allen, and nieces Julie Eastin, Resa Allen, Victoria Allen, and Lexi Allen.
