Nancy Newell Jordan

Mrs. Nancy Newell Jordan, age 66, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020, at her residence.

Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, March 27, 2020, at Waxhaw Baptist Church Cemetery, 
8213  Old Waxhaw -Monroe Road,  Waxhaw, NC 28173, officiated by Reverend Jim Yow.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Friday, March 27, 2020, at the cemetery, prior to the graveside ceremony.

Mrs. Jordan was born on November 6, 1953, in Charlotte, North Carolina, the daughter of the late John Bunyan Newell and the late Mildred Winters Newell. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Newell and a sister, Doris Johnson.

Nancy was a caterer and chef with Ida Rossell's for many years. She was also formerly a medical transcriptionist .

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Jordan of Waxhaw; a son, Robert Bush and wife Tabetha Bush of Hurdle Mills, NC; step daughter, Elizabeth Bush Bellinger of Marietta, Georgia.; two sisters, Bobbie Jo Atkins of Charlotte and Terry Corbett of Lawson, Missouri. There are six grandchildren, Augustine Bush, Calla Bush, Betty Bush, John Bush, Lazarus Bush and Margie Bellinger.
