Patsy Ruth (Pope) Russ

Patsy Ruth Russ, 69, of Monroe passed away on February 11, 2023 in Atrium Health Union.  Her funeral service will 2 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in the Davis Funeral Service Chapel.  Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Service from 1 until 1:45 PM prior to the funeral service. 

Born August 17, 1953, she was the daughter of Evelyn Helms Pope of Monroe and the late Clifford Pope.  She was a retired employee of ORO Manufacturing. 

Mrs. Russ is survived by her husband of 38 years, Richard Russ.  Other survivors include daughter Beverly Ann Russ of Monroe, brother Donald Pope of Marshville, sister Lynn Price of Marshville, three grandchildren April Lee Gregory, Matthew Aaron Gregory, and Bailey Ann Russ and great-grandson Jackson Kneeland Russ.  In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by daughter Amanda Russ and brother Ralph Pope.
