Randy Franklin Medlin

Randy Franklin Medlin, 65, of Monroe passed away May 28, 2022 in his home.  His funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday, June 2, 2022 in the Davis Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Dallas Pressley and Pastor Larry Harrison officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Service from 10 until 11 on Thursday, prior to the hour of the service. 

Born May 4, 1957 in Union County he was the son of Beatrice Marie Yandle Medlin and the late Bobby Franklin Medlin.  He was of the Christian Faith and worked for many years in Maintenance and Fabrication with Central Sawyer.  He was a devoted son, father, and grandfather.  His family was everything to him. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three children, Travis Medlin (Wendy) of Buffalo, SC, Holly Kelley (Frankie) of Monroe, and Amanda Underwood of Smyrna, SC, two brothers Richard Medlin (Wanda) of Monroe, Jeff Medlin (Wanda) of Monroe, and two sisters Kathy Brewer (Jeff) of Indian Trail and Judy McManus (Vann) of Monroe, and eight grandchildren Dara, Trace, Emory, Lofton, Bryson, Ashton, Alanna, and Alex in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.  A granddaughter Hanna Price Medlin preceded him in death. 

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County.
