Richard Kenneth Tucker

Richard Kenneth Tucker, 79, of Marshville passed away on September 8, 2022 in Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.  His funeral service will be graveside on Sunday, September 11th, 2022 at 3 PM at Philadephia Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshville.  The family will receive friends on Saturday evening at Davis Funeral Service from 6 until 8 PM. 

Born May 20, 1943 in Anson County, NC he was the son of the late Leroy Tucker and Dallie Kellis Tucker.  He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and was a farmer.  Farming was his life and he deeply loved his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Hilton Tucker.  Survivors include children Dana T. Price (Chad) of Marshville and Chris Tucker (Shirleen) of Marshville, grandchildren Dwayne Tucker (Kenzie), Samantha Price, Skylar Price, and Tucker Price, great-grandchildren Raelyn Tucker and Ryatt Tucker, sisters-in-law Carol Ross (David) of Marshville and Judy Woody (Ted) of Matthews and fiancé Millie Hudson.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, and a grandson Ryan Hill.
