Robbie Knight

Mr. Robert "Robbie" Lee Knight, age 33, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at his residence. 

A Memorial Service to honor Robbie's life will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, June 3, 2021, in the H. Vann Davis III Memorial Chapel of Davis Funeral Service, 1003 E. Franklin St., Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Rev. Darryl Helms. 

Robbie was born June 24, 1987 in Union County, NC, a son of Vikki Helms Simpson and Robert Joel Knight. Robbie is described by his family and friends as a kind hearted soul who was always willing to help others. A jack-of-all-trades, Robbie worked for Barnyard Utility Buildings as a carpenter. Robbie was blessed with many artistic talents. His ability to dance, draw, and play different musical instruments constantly impressed those around him. His distinct laugh always put a smile on people's faces. An animal lover and math whiz, Robbie was a man of compassion and intelligence who was truly one of a kind. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him and loved him. 

In addition to his parents, Robbie is survived by his son, Jacob Daniel Knight, his fiancée, Kayla Harrington, his grandfather, Rev. Darryl Helms (Georgia), his uncle, Jody Helms, and his cousins; Josh, Alisha, and Chris. 

Robbie was preceded in death by his brother, Nicholas Aaron Rogers, and his grandmother, Florence "Flo" Helms.
