Robert Daniel Hudson

Daniel Robert Hudson, 61, of Waxhaw passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in Atrium Health Pineville.  His funeral service will be held at graveside at 1 PM on Friday, September 15, 2022 at Lakeland Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Davis Funeral Service of Monroe. 

Born September 5, 1961 he was the son of Loma Deview Morgan Hudson of Oak Island and the late Jack Ray Hudson.  He was a mechanic at Exxon in Waxhaw for many years. 

Mr. Hudson is survived by his wife Denise W. Hudson, daughters Jessica Hudson of Heath Springs, SC, Robin Shay (Ryan) of Lancaster, SC, and Susan Hawkins of Monroe, sister Joy Gold (Mark) of Oak Island, and eleven grandchildren, Hugh Shay, Courtnei Demas, Jason Meeks, Maya Shay, Cory Hawkins, Maylei Meeks, Ashben Hawkins, Riley Shay, Jakob Melton, Acheron Melton, and Ares Melton.
