Sue was born on September 30, 1946, in Charleston, WV, the daughter of Shirley (Shoat) Drake and Sylvia (Sib) Canterbury Drake. Susie was one of ten, close-knit siblings. She was retired from CMC Union/Atrium Health after 25+ years as a pharmacy technician.

Sue loved her family with all her heart. She was an avid reader. In her lifetime she read thousands of books and loved to share them with various friends and family. She was a music lover and her tastes ranged from classical to rock. She particularly enjoyed rocking out to Def Leppard, windows down, music turned up. Sue loved shiny jewelry, ramps, cornbread, her family, the WV Mountaineers, vintage glass, and yard sales. Not necessarily in that order.

Sue was witty, sarcastic, wicked smart, tenacious, and mischievous. She had a beautiful smile and will be desperately missed by all who were privileged to know her.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, James E Moore, Sr, stepson James E Moore Jr. (Jim), daughter, Sarah Jean Marez, and granddaughter Alexandria Nicole Moore.
