H. Vann Davis, III
CEO Funeral Director/Advance Planning Counselor
Vann, a graduate of Wingate College, is a licensed funeral director, pre-need funeral counselor, and licensed insurance agent. He is the son of the late Vann and Mary Davis, founders of the funeral home. He has been in the funeral profession for many years. He maintains membership for the organization in the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association and the Order of the Golden Rule.
Vann is very active in his community. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Union County United Way, the Union County Community Shelter, and Turning Point of Union County. He is a former member of the Leadership Union Class. He also serves on the George A. Batte, Jr. Fine Arts Advisory Board at Wingate University. He also is a Gideon, a group of professional Christian gentlemen. Vann is very active with his church, Central United Methodist, serving as an usher, tour guide and former member of the Long Range Planning Committee and Finance Committee. He is a member of the Monroe Rotary Club, also receiving the "Service Above Self" Award, the Monroe Union County Chamber of Commerce, the Waxhaw Masonic Lodge, as well as a Nursing Home Advisory Committee Board member. He has been a fund development officer for the Union County American Cancer Society and its past Vice President.
Vann feels blessed to be able to assist families in their great hour of need, and personally help guide families through their journey of grief.
